Tony Jin ’22 has recently been selected by The Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA) as the 2021 Kenneth W. Payne Student Prize winner for best student paper submission for his paper “The Ambivalent State of Radical Queer Imaginaries: The Chinese State, Identity Politics, and the Queer Private Sphere.”
Aleja Hertzler-McCain ’21, a double major in Anthropology and Music, was awarded the 2021 Best Anthropology Student. Aleja is currently working as an Editorial Assistant for Sojourners magazine.
