Dear Sagehens,
It is a shorter week here at Pomona College as we will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, in honor of U.S. Independence Day. But we still have Three Things for you all!
Here you go:
- Regardless of whether you have joined Pomona’s 1-2-1 math program, you are invited to participate in 1-2-1 math’s department & program information sessions. In these info sessions, you meet faculty from these departments who will tell you about their program, their courses, and other opportunities. You will also get to ask questions. We record the sessions just in case you can’t make the live session. You will find the list and times of the 1-2-1 information sessions as well as the recorded videos at this link. All information sessions are on Zoom: link here.
- A reminder to apply to participate in our first-ever summer dialogue mini-series on July 23 and 25. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form on Engage. The form closes on July 15. (The sessions will be on Zoom.)
- Finally, let’s talk a bit about Pomona’s fascination with the number 47.
As always, you can check the Orientation To- Do list and the Three Things Archive to make sure you are all caught up.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Respectfully,
Josh Eisenberg, dean of campus life
