Three Things - 6.5.2024

Dear Sagehens,

We hope you are enjoying your week in your corner of the world. Congratulations to those of you who have graduated already, and for those who still have a few weeks left – you can do it! In the meantime, here are the things we’d like you to complete or learn more about.

This week’s Three Things:

  • All incoming students must be up to date on their vaccinations and have a medical physical completed before arriving on campus in August. (Students who do not complete this will not be able to move in.) The upload portal will open next week but, in the meantime, if you need to schedule vaccinations, here is a list of those required by Pomona College.
  • Sixteen Pomona students were awarded Fulbright Awards, the premiere U.S.-funded grant for students to teach English or do research outside of the country.
  • Finally, learn more about Claremont, your home for the next few years. A city 35 miles east of Los Angeles, Claremont offers many options for entertainment, dining and events. Learn more about Claremont.

Enjoy the rest of your week, and you’ll hear from us next Wednesday. If you have missed any of the previous emails, you can catch up with the Three Things archive. And check the To Do list to see what forms are available for you to complete.

Respectfully,

Josh Eisenberg, dean of campus life

Pierangelo De Pace, associate dean of the College
